Sky Brand Toolkit
The Sky Brand Toolkit is the central reference for internal teams and partners, containing all brand guidelines, assets, and templates. Before the redesign, the toolkit was scattered across multiple sources, difficult to navigate, and inconsistent in presentation. My goal was to create a single, intuitive platform that would give teams quick access to brand resources, promote consistent application, and speed up delivery of creative work.
Challenge
The existing toolkit was outdated, overly text-heavy, and lacked a clear structure. Files were buried under multiple clicks, search was ineffective, and different departments were maintaining their own variations. This created inefficiencies and brand inconsistencies across channels. The redesign needed to consolidate everything into one accessible hub, streamline the browsing experience, and ensure users could find exactly what they needed in seconds.
Process
Conducted a full audit of all brand resources across departments
Defined content categories and mapped out a new information architecture
Designed a clean, responsive interface optimised for both desktop and mobile
Introduced interactive previews for assets to reduce unnecessary downloads
Created onboarding tips and quick-start guides for new users
Results
The new toolkit adopted a modular, card-based layout, clear categorisation, and improved search capabilities. Brand assets and guidelines were centralised, while interactive previews allowed users to check designs before downloading. Feedback from internal teams was overwhelmingly positive, with reports of faster access to resources, improved brand consistency, and higher overall adoption across departments.
Conclusion
The redesign transformed the Sky Brand Toolkit from a fragmented, inefficient resource into a centralised, user-friendly platform. It streamlined workflows, reduced duplication of effort, and ensured the brand was represented consistently across all channels. The new system now serves as the single source of truth for anyone working with Sky’s brand.
